The History of the Confederate Flag of America

There was a lot of heat boiling in South Carolina Capital, about the issues of the Confederate battle flag being taken down from the premises. I thought one of the rules of war, was when the defeated group would have to burn their flags. The Confederate army lost the American Civil War against the Yankee army aka, “The North”. The KKK is supporting the Confederate flag staying at South Carolina Capitol because they support their fore fathers who stood up for the Confederate flag, and the ideology of white supremacy over the inferior or colored race. The second designer by William T. Thompson referred to his flag as, “The White Man’s Flag”. Thompson stated that its color symbolized the supremacy of the white man. William T. Thompson also stated in correspondence to his design for the confederate flag, “as a people we are fighting to keep up the Heaven ordained supremacy of the White man over the inferior or colored race, a white flag would thus be emblematical of our cause.” – William T. Thompson (April 23, …

Accessing Your Health

Hey Earthians, I’m currently studying at Cabrillo College for an A.A in Health Science/Community Health. Taking classes in nutrition and personal health. I want to share with you some things I learn from my classes. I’ll need to be aware of myself for certain behaviors that are good and bad health decisions. When I share this information with you, I hope you can do the same or take gradual steps, to change bad health behaviors into positive behaviors and staying consistent with your journey. I’m in the same boat, trying to stay consistent & balanced The word, “health” has different meanings because health doesn’t only mean your physical health if you’re an active person who enjoys exercising and the many daily life tedious habits. Getting sick from a common cold, the area where you live, your standpoint on your life, the things you conduct in, social environments, or the time of being unbalanced are factors of your health.  We need to meet high-level of health by moving toward positive health indicators. To meet one’s potential in each six …

The Buzz of Network Marketing

Hello fellow Earthians, I’ve been digging into the world of network marketing to pursue a path in doing business online instead of, the traditional way of doing business. I wanted to state, that I will be writing more about networking marketing, online businesses, and work from home programs to show you the legitimate programs that make you money online. I know there’s been a lot of talk on how network marketing, MLM (multi-level marketing), and working from home is all about scams and pyramid schemes. To easily entice you to buy a product or service, then market that product or service in your community, and hopefully make a sale or two. Most people might not make a sale in their first couple of months because they could be using the old traditional ways of marketing. Calling friends and family, who are sort of interested, but will still take some work to get them to opt-in. Calling people is still effective, but people are busy, it’s hard for some people to find the time to speak …

Identity

For some reason, this post has been blank (until I finally decided I need to write it again), which I thought I pressed the update button to enter in my post about how I identify as an African-American woman living in the United States. I’m guessing the first time I posted this, it was too racial towards a certain group of people. I wasn’t trying to put a main target on a certain group. More just get an understanding how you can feel my feelings as African-American woman living in dominantly white cities. Where there’s not much of a melting pot of people, and sometimes I feel alone; even though, I’m not alone. Either way, I shouldn’t have to identify myself as African-American. I could say to myself, I’m Esperance, that’s what I’ve been called since I was born. Why is it when I look at myself in the mirror. I see myself as black and some people in the area I live, don’t always associate themselves with black people, so I feel its hard …

Things are coming back together

Can’t believe its already the end of April. At this time, I was hoping to have my blog/website of the Buzz of Earthians fully up and running but it seems procrastination is still in my blood. Maybe its just my attitude toward my work. If I didn’t say, “I’m such a procrastinator.” Makes me an actually procrastinator and I’m telling myself continually that I am. However, I should change that around and say, “I’m not a procrastinator and I get my work done on timely manner.” This statement is a positive affirmation that I don’t procrastinate and have good time management. After a month of not working and looking for part/full-time work. I’ve finely found work with Back to the Roots, an organization that makes sustainable products. The two products they’re selling are AquaFarms and Mushroom Kits. I will be working as a Brand Ambassador advocating their products in Costco stores. I will have a table in the store and will be able to have a conversion with customers who are interested in buying AquaFarms …

Procrastination no more…

I’ve been procrastinating for such a long time about really getting this blog going, so I could share my passions, interests, and hobbies with my fellow Earthians. I have a hard time just sometimes taking the initial first step in doing something that I want to do. I’ll talk about it for some time and think about it, but I actually won’t be doing it. And that’s a problem right there because I’m just talking and not walking the talk. It’s time to take action in what I want to start doing in my life. One of those actions is to get this blog going and start writing more about the experiences that’s happening around me. I’m continually educating myself through affiliate marketing, HTML,  and At-Home businesses are some of the things I’m keeping my mind occupied with. As I go through a tough transition in my life being unemployed. Now that I have all this time, I’m digging more into blogging and affiliate marketing but still looking for work. I also just wanted to …
